Now in its 13th season, this long-standing partnership with Florida International University brings 45-minute contemporary adaptations of Shakespeare’s classics to Miami-Dade classrooms.

GableStage’s touring production of Romeo and Juliet will tour to 20+ Miami-Dade County public high schools in February and March of 2026. Directed and adapted by Michael Yawney, Romeo and Juliet features a cast of 6 FIU Theatre alumni in an exciting adaptation of the Bard’s timeless romance.

Public performances to take place on February 14 (FIU) and March 23 (GableStage).
