Bob (BUDDY SILVER) has been a working actor for over 50 years. He appeared in the premiere of True Art at the Dorset Theatre Festival. Broadway: Bells are Ringing, The Constant Wife, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Act One. Off- Broadway: Broken Snow, Rock and Roll Man, The Late Christopher Bean, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Die Mommie Die, and many, many others. Over 30 regional theatres. Film: “Two Lovers”, “Kissing Jessica Stein”, and coming up: “Primetime”. T.V: “Your Friends and Neighbors, “Only Murders in this Building”, “F.B.I. Most Wanted”, “Manifest”, “Veep”, “Blindspot”, “The Onion News Network”, and all three Law & Orders. As a director, Tally’s Folly, Thataway Jack, and he won a West Coast Robby for his production of Side by Side by Sondheim. Samuel Krogh (J.J. WINCHESTER) is overwhelmingly proud to be making his regional debut at the theater he calls home. GableStage regulars may recognize him from the very Box Office they pick their tickets up from! Samuel has been with GableStage for 4 years, working in roles from Box Office, taking care of costumes, to acting in GableStage’s award winning educational program, Shakespeare In The Schools. 1 year ago, he had the privilege of being the inaugural Dave Coulson Education Fellow at GableStage. Recent credits include The Play That Goes Wrong, at Loxen Entertainment, [Overlap] and Three Scenes In The Life Of A Trotskyist, at LakehouseRanchDotPNG, an experimental, absurdist, and politically active theatre collective dedicated to developing and producing original work in South Florida, where Samuel is also a company member. Casey Sacco (LAUREN SANDERS) is a South Florida actor. GableStage audiences may recognize her from last season’s Prayer for the French Republic as Molly. Bari Newport (Director & Producing Artistic Director) joined GableStage as Producing Artistic Director in June 2021, succeeding the legendary Joseph Adler, “the godfather of South Florida theatre,” who led the company from 1988 to 2020. Bari is known for her creative methods of centering a theatre company in a community. Whether it’s giving out hundreds of potted plants on Earth Day or designating Thursdays as Give a Dog a Bone Days, Bari’s belief that a theatre company is a citizen in a community rather than simply a place where plays are produced has been the bellwether of her career. Before coming to Miami, Bari served nine and a half seasons as Producing Artistic Director of Penobscot Theatre Company in Bangor, Maine. Previously, she was Artistic Associate at the Tony Award–winning Alliance Theatre, Artistic/Literary Manager at Pasadena Playhouse, Associate Producer at Atlanta’s Horizon Theatre, and Associate Director at Florida Repertory Theatre. Her work as a director and actor has been seen at Horizon Theatre Company, Greenbrier Valley Theatre, American Stage, Cumberland County Playhouse, Florida Repertory Theatre, Sacramento Theatre Company, Westport Country Playhouse, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. At GableStage, she has directed The Price, The Year of Magical Thinking, Heisenberg, We Will Not Be Silent, A Doll’s House, Part 2, The Thanksgiving Play, The Lehman Trilogy, Appropriate, and Summer, 1976. Bari earned her BFA from the University of Southern California and her MFA from the University of Iowa.
